Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use this to create and secure your account.
• Content you provide. Timetable images you upload, the schedule and study events you create, courses you follow, and settings you choose inside the app.
• Usage and diagnostics. Basic product analytics (pages viewed, features used) and error reports, used to keep the service working and to improve it. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

How we use Google user data

When you connect your Google account, Lrnoo requests the following access, and nothing more:

• Your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) — to identify you and sign you in.
• A Lrnoo-owned Google Calendar (the calendar.app.created scope) — this lets Lrnoo create a dedicated calendar in your Google account and add the class and study events you schedule in Lrnoo to it. Lrnoo can only see and manage the calendar it creates. It cannot read, edit, or delete your existing personal calendars or their events.

We request this calendar access only so that the timetable and study plan you build in Lrnoo can appear in your own Google Calendar. You can disconnect this access at any time from your Google account settings, and you can delete the Lrnoo calendar directly in Google Calendar.

Limited Use disclosure

Lrnoo’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except where you explicitly ask us to, where it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run Lrnoo, and only to the extent needed to operate the product:

• Hosting & database — our application host and a managed PostgreSQL database (hosted in the EU) that store your account and schedule data.
• Timetable recognition — when you upload a timetable image, it is processed by Google’s Gemini API to extract the schedule text. The image is used only to produce your schedule.
• Analytics & error monitoring — privacy-focused product analytics and error-reporting providers (hosted in the EU) that help us keep the service reliable.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or Lrnoo.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@lrnoo.com. Revoking Lrnoo’s access from your Google account settings immediately stops any further access to your Google data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@lrnoo.com.

Children

Lrnoo is used by students, including minors, under the direction of their school or guardian. We collect only the information described above and never use it for advertising. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Lrnoo evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
